Our History

The activity centre in Manor Road, Chatham was first opened in 2010 under the name of Caring Choice Support Services & Activity Centre Ltd. In September 2022, Choice & Harmony Support Services  Ltd stepped in and became the new owners whilst retaining all the existing staff and service users.

Mission Statement

To provide excellent, quality support through a friendly and variable partnership whilst allowing service users to embrace their independence, privacy, dignity and self-respect.

To promote the belief that service users, regardless of their disability, can participate within a community where they are accepted for who they are as well as being given the opportunity to experience a sense of purpose and encouraged to be everything they aspire to be.

• Ensure that the support provided is based on a comprehensively agreed assessment of each service user's requirements and continually monitored and updated.

• To work in collaboration with service users' families as well as other members of the multidisciplinary health professional team.

• Encourage and support families as they fulfill their role as caregiver.

• Ensure services are provided by staff who are suitably trained, qualified and assessed as competent to carry out their duties.

• Encourage service users to take responsibility for their own health and well-being by providing information to enable choices.

• Continually improve the quality of our service by listening to service users and staff as well as learning from what we do.
